Talking about Future Plans: Present Continuous
Use the present continuous (be + verb-ing) to talk about fixed future plans and arrangements.
Form
Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing + future time. “I am meeting my friend tomorrow.” “She is traveling to Paris next week.” “They are having a party on Saturday.”
Time expressions
tomorrow, next week, next month, tonight, this weekend, on Friday, in July.
