Prepositions of place describe where something is located.
In
Inside an area or space. in the room, in the city, in Algeria, in the garden, in the box.
On
On a surface. on the table, on the wall, on the floor, on the page, on the menu.
At
Specific point or location. at the door, at the bus stop, at school, at work, at the corner.
Under
Below something. under the bed, under the table, under the water.
Next to / Beside
Close to, beside. next to the bank, beside the door.
Other Prepositions
behind, in front of, between, opposite, near, above, below, inside, outside.
